Why

Practice to Policy is a vehicle for change makers; people, teams and organisations who want to transform from the inside out. Transformative change that brings more aliveness to us and the systems we want to be different. This is mostly in the space where mental health meets social justice.

Founded by Dr. Nina Browne who needed a way to share her love for Avant-Guarde psychology, disruptive leadership and a longing to keep learning in community. Her research of the same name, developed insights into how psychologists could change policy. It spurred almost a decade of practice dedicated to learning how to do it.

Nina can often be found in spaces you’re least likely to find a Psychologist.

Practice to Policy is best described as an emergent, ever changing place for collaboration and exploration. The range of offerings to work together changes depending what is needed. But the heart of the work doesn’t which is that you also want a fairer, more equitable health system.
